Position description: AMD Research is seeking a talented, experienced researcher with a proven ability of patents and publications for research and development of advanced web development skills.
The perfect candidate will have direct background working on JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Java, and Linux kernel internals to instrument and profile kernel software.
Applicant should have a proven ability of identifying and developing innovative research directions for web software stacks and applying them to practical use.
An advanced degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering and a min 8yrs of industry or post-doctoral academic background is required.
Background with a public cloud platform is a plus. Applicants with computer architecture and design will also be considered.
Austin TX is the preferred location but Bellevue WA, Boston MA, and Sunnyvale CA will be considered.
