Sr. Proposal Analyst Job

Description:

This individual works with subject matter experts to gather product and process details and pull the components together to create comprehensive bids and proposal responses. In this role, the position is responsible for integrating the technical qualifications, consulting services, and pricing elements of the proposal into a competitive Itron solution. • Analyze customer data to evaluate and propose proper Itron solutions. • Provide baseline response framework documents for subject matter experts. • Manage multiple input sources into the overall solution response. • Research and provide input for the technical and business solution. • Serve as the customer's point of contact during the RFI/RFP/RFQ process. • Support related technical writing qualifications (whitepapers, product overviews, etc). • Contribute to process improvement initiatives. • Assist lower-level analysts with complex projects. • Provide draft product pricing in standard Itron template format. Be capable of providing draft pricing independently for complex systems of Itron products. Revise as required at the direction of the Proposals Manager or other senior response teammates. • Act as the focal point for preparing non-standard product pricing. • Initiate contact with the appropriate consulting services organization to obtain and apply implementation services pricing. • Obtain approval for and apply non-standard discounts when directed. • Maintain pricing and proposal databases. • When assigned primarily to the pricing function within the Proposal Team, this position entails additional responsibilities to function as a working lead. This role has leadership responsibilities with respect to quality and the management of personnel resources and project assignments related to pricing.
