Technical Training Instructor

Description:
Responsible for technical training on all forestry equipment for dealers world-wide. Applicant must be able to plan and coordinate all aspects of a training class, develop technical material using Powerpoint or Adobe, and teach how to diagnose and repair current and legacy forestry equipment to Dealer Training Instructors, Technical Communicators and Technicians. Extensive domestic and world-wide travel is required. Minimum requirements: *10+ years of training instructor or related work background.
*Knowledgeable of dealers service organization
*Expertise to work with dealer personnel to plan and coordinate classes
*Conduct needs assessments as necessary to determine the dealer technician training requirements
*Possess expert knowledge of all heavy equipment systems, ie hydraulics, electrical, etc.
*Use software effectively to develop training materials
*Operate heavy equipment safely
*Skilled in hands-on mechanical repairs on heavy equipment
*Superior mechanical aptitude
*Outstanding written and oral communications skills
*Outstanding management skills
*Highly effective with diverse cultures
*Self starter
*Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability
*Teach complicated details in an understandable format Bilingual-Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, French
Background in writing technical publications
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Background in Forestry Industry Skills and Certifications (bold if required)
Bi-lingual-Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, French
