About the company: D1Spects is the number source for youth and high school sports. We provide college coaches with up to date information and host quality exposure events. We are looking for a few dedicated writers/reporters who understand the game of basketball, and would like to enhance their resumes. This is a PAID internship; however only a few will be chosen. $20 per article and a chance to get your "foot" in the door by meeting people in the media, coaches, and others. If you have a family to feed or trying to maintain a comfortable lifestyle....THIS IS NOT THE JOB FOR YOU. This internship program is designed to provide both instruction and experience in the areas listed below. Instruction will include overviews on related topics, guest speakers, and case studies. In terms of experience, the selected interns will provide content and coverage for D1Spects projects & events, and they will also have the opportunity to cover additional projects if they desire to do so.

Internship Focus Areas in
- Journalism & Communications
o Developing articles on featured players, teams, events, and any related topics
o Writing press releases (traditional & social media)
o Communication plan development

- Video Broadcasting
o Providing commentary & play-by-play
o Conducting interviews
o Manning the camera in order to deliver quality video

- Marketing & Advertising
o Marketing strategy, plans, and tactics for the Eric Snow Sports brand and related projects
o Creating media kits and selling advertising/sponsorships
o Evaluation of marketing plans & tactics

Qualified applicants ages 14 and must be able to:
- Attend online meetings using the GoToMeeting application
- Manage time wisely and be accountable for assignments
- Have transportation to and from any assigned events
- Communicate effectively in writing and over the telephone
