Porsche Inventory specialist / Shop person

Automotive inventory, specializes in Porsche from 1972-2010
organize catagorize parts as they are removed from the cars

We are looking for a full time in-house candidate with solid inventory experience. Must have extensive knowledge of Porsche parts or auto parts in general. Candidate will be responsible to organize and catagorize parts, take pictures on occasion

Porsche knowledge or experience will go to the top of our list

Full time candidate needed for Porsche junkyard, salvage yard, dismantling yard to help with: dismantling cars, pulling parts, organizing, inventory, cleaning your own work space, installation (possible on occasion), some light and heavy labor, Clean tools, shop, shipping, and other misc. tasks. Must read and speak English well.

-Previous salvage yard or auto body experience a plus.
-Applicant needs to be punctual (on time), neat and clean
-Able to pick up after themselves and others
-Know how to safely drive a forklift a a plus
-Direct Porsche experience is a plus and is preferred
-be able to identify parts for inventoring and for pulling parts when sold
-recognize parts by year and model differences
-sort, organize, catagorize parts
-must have basic understanding of vehicle systems (brake system, drivetrain, suspension etc)
-must not be afraid of heights
-detail orientated
-must be computer literate
-must be able to lift 50 lbs
-must be able to be on your feet most of the day
-writing needs to be legible
-need to be able to work under pressure and fast pace environment (on occasion)
-must be able to mutitask and see things through, projects can not be left undone at end of day.
-bilingual in Armenian is a plus but not necessary
-shop experience is must

Los Angeles Dismantler, for Porsche 911 & Boxster, is a salvage dismantling junkyard that sells used good quality parts. We have been in the industry since 1985 (originally next door at KAOS dismantling Honda & Acura) but focused on Porsche since around 1995. We have worldwide recognition as the source for Porsche used parts. We are a husband and wife small family owned business. Hours 9-6 Mon--Fri and Sat 10-2. A background check & drug test may be performed on any applicant offered the position.

We are looking for a full time in-house candidate with solid experience. Salary TBD depending on experience send salary history with your resume.
